Recruitment and Selection of Personnel

We conduct recruitment and selection of specialists for all economic sectors. We have focused on mid-level employees, management and top management executives. We provide optimal solutions for attracting candidates and choosing the best of them in according to the specifics of client's activity.  

The objective of our DBI R&S methodology is to elaborate a "suitability profile" of the candidates. To achieve this we compare the "abilities profile" that we have obtained during the selection process, with the "requirements profile" of the job. Therefore our clients receive the applications only of those candidates, whose "suitability profile" is warranty for effective work performance. 

During the whole process we evaluate competences, potential, knowledge, skills, abilities, candidate's motivation for working on the particular job position.

We assume the obligation of continuing the recruitment and selection process without charging in case that during the probation period the candidate is not performing effectively. 

In order to respond in the most effective way to our clients' needs we offer two options for proceeding:

DBI provides the whole recruitment and selection process. The process is realized in according to our DBI R&S method and ends with written profiles of the best performed candidates. After the process is completed we organize a meeting between our client and the candidate and we also provide consultancy about the final decision.

DBI can also apply the test system to candidates selected by our client. In this case we evaluate knowledge, skills, individual and personal characteristics and we prepare a report to the employer. 

The duration of the whole process is about 20 days after the advertisement for the vacant position has been published. In according to the clients' needs we aim to finish the process as quickly as possible. We start to present candidates at the begging of the second week.

The price of the whole process depends on the level of the vacant position in the company's hierarchy.

DBI R&S recruitment and selection procedure includes the following principal points:

At the beginning of the process we start with consulting our client about the most effective way to reach the target group of candidates by using one or more approaches.  

Publishing of advertisements in Internet and /or in printed medias.

We prepare the announcement and decide where and when to publish it.

In general we work with the so called "blind advertisements" published with our name and logo. The blind advertisements have many advantages and usually are preferred by our clients. At the begging of the 90-thes of the past century we were the first to introduce blind advertisements into Bulgarian practice. 

In case the client wants to announce the name of his company in the advertisement we use the called "want advertisement".

Data base

From the begging of our work as consultants we maintain a data base of valuable candidates. The data base contains candidates, who have applied for past vacancies, candidates, who want to become part of our data base, students and graduates. These specifics of our data base increase the evaluation possibilities for the particular vacancy.    

Universities

We use this way of attracting candidates when our clients are interested in candidates who are at the end of their education. To achieve best efficiency we maintain stable contacts with the most prestigious universities in the country. 

Contact network

During the years DBI established a contact network with great possibilities to attract candidates. This is the most valuable way of reaching candidates in case of Executive Search and Head Hunting.

The selection process includes the following steps:

Analyzing the candidates' documents. We compare the job profile with the information from the candidates CVs and other documents. This is how we make the first selection.

Interview system

We use structured interview with highest level of reliability and validity in Bulgarian conditions. Those, who have passed successfully through the system, go to the next step. 

System of tests

We apply different tests in according to the characteristics that we want to evaluate in the candidates. Apart from the psychometric tests we use also knowledge and skills tests and Assessment Centre. In order to evaluate the candidates in according to their future work responsibilities, we apply practical exercises that imitate the real work environment.

Each of the tests that we use evaluates a particular characteristic of the candidate, required by the vacant position.

Since the beginning of 2006 for first time in Bulgarian practice we apply on line testing of candidates' knowledge and skills for vacant positions. This gives us the opportunity to make a precise and objective evaluation of the "aptitudes profile" of the candidate and to compare it with the "requirements profile" of the vacant position. This is how we eliminate the possibility of candidate to fail in his work performance. 

As a result of the selection process we prepare a written profile of the most successful candidates. We present to the employer the best candidates and our evaluation about them. We organize a meeting between the employer and the candidates and discuss the application of each candidate so we can help the employer in taking the final decision.
